Wait A While Rainforest Tours are locally owned and operated providing tours of the rainforest for small groups (maximum of 11 pax).
Join this informative wildlife tour to see rare Australian wildlife by both day and night. Departing Cairns around 1.30pm, you will be taken on a journey of discovery into the world’s oldest tropical rainforest. During the daylight hours your guide will lead you to find wallaby, musky rat kangaroo and Boyd’s forest dragons. You will also learn about the vegetation and how it was used by the Aboriginal people. After enjoying a local dinner when it is dark you go back into the forest at night. Your guide will be armed with a spotlight and there you will get the chance to see platypus, possum and tree kangaroo.
The tour includes dinner and returns to you Cairns at approximately 10pm.
